To Self-sufficiency!

This issue is dedicated to self-sufficiency and its wondrous possibilities. Self-care is not limited to using food as medicine.  It also involves taking responsibility to know for ourselves, what truly is good for us, and make it a lifestyle.  As we know, the choices we make today are the basis for what the future will bring; pretty much like seeds— whatever we sow is what we’ll reap.

Therefore, being able to provide for our own self-care is key. Health and well-being go beyond buying organic food in the supermarket or joining a yoga class, but it’s a start. We should be aiming for unrestricted and free food abundance and understanding soil fertility to grow our food, as well as a deeper education on wild whole foods, herbs, and other non-domesticated plants for culinary and medicinal uses.

It is time to open our eyes to what is really making us ill.  It’s time to learn from the past, and become our own master, our own guru, and our own guide.  It’s time to embody self-care and sow the seeds of abundance for the years to come. Are you ready?  Here we go.
