Eating well can be expensive. Buying produce that is either organically grown, local, biodynamic, or non-gmo, is unfortunately, not easy to find or inexpensive. Nonetheless, ingesting pesticide residue is not an option.

Luckily, we can all grow part of our food staples.  Even in urban areas.  It only takes a tiny bit of space, water, and light.  We can shave a few bucks off our grocery bill without the need of seeds or fancy hardware and simply using kitchen scraps from our next meal. It doesn’t get any more local than that!

Produce should be organic so it grows faster, healthier, provides you loads of nutrients, and zero pesticides.
