About Ellen Jaffe Jones

Ellen is a certified personal trainer (AFAA), running coach (RRCA), sports and fitness columnist and radio show host. Her bestseller, "Eat Vegan on $4 a Day" went to a second printing faster than any other in her publisher's history. As an investigative/consumer reporter and anchor, she won two Emmy awards and the National Press Club award for Consumer Reporting. Her mom, aunt and both sisters had breast cancer. A runner for 32 years, Ellen has placed in almost 3-dozen 5 and 10K races. She has won 5 regional Senior Games gold medals in 2011-12. Her 100-meter times are six seconds slower than NCAA College girls’ personal records on the University of Southern California track team.
